Code of Conduct - members/players
Each member, and in the case of junior members also their parent/carer, agrees to the following:
Warrington Table Tennis Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all its members. The Club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the Club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the Club with the Head or Assistant Coaches, or any of the Club’s Officials.
As a member of Warrington Table Tennis Club, you are expected to abide by the following code of practice:
- All members must play within the rules and respect officials and their decisions.
- All members must respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of age, gender, ability, race, cultural background, religious beliefs or sexual identity.
- Members should keep to agreed timings for training and competitions or inform the Head Coach or Assistant Coach if they are going to be late.
- Members must wear suitable kit for training and match sessions, as agreed with the Head Coach.
- Members must pay any fees for training or events promptly.
- Junior members are not allowed to smoke or consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on Club premises or whilst representing the Club at competitions.
- Junior members must list a parent or guardian in their profile on the web site and all members must list any relevant medical conditions in their profile on the web site (a login will be provided once membership is confirmed by the club).
For parents/carers of junior members:- I agree to my son/daughter/child in my care taking part in the activities of the Club. I understand in the event of injury or illness to my son/daughter/child all reasonable steps will be taken to contact me, and to deal with that injury / illness appropriately.
