WTTC's two first division teams off to a winning start; Jordan Glendenning makes first division debut.
WTTC's two first division teams Culcheth A and Culcheth B both got their season's off to a winning start, with Culcheth A (Mark Bleakley, Stuart Hardy, Olivier Barthelemy) beating Alford B 26-9 and Culcheth B (David Eden, Daniel Clarke, Jordan Glendenning) narrowly beating a strong Sutton team 20-16.
The wins were all the more special for the club as 13-year old Jordan Glendenning was making his debut in the first division and contributed 4 points to Culcheth B's win.
Thirteen-year old Jordan Glendenning made his league debut in the first division.
Jordan Glendenning started playing table tennis aged ten and quickly established himself as one of the up-and-coming juniors at the club. Having proved a strong and consistent performer over the last three seasons, Jordan will now lead Warringtion Table Tennis Club's under 15s first team in the National Cadet League for the 2013-14 season.
Culcheth A's next match is against newly promoted Alford C on 26 September and Culcheth B's next opponents are the Culcheth E team on 24 September.
