The 2012-13 National Junior League started well for Warrington with wins for each of its three teams.
Saturday 3 November saw the Halton National Junior League get off to a winning start for Warrington's three junior teams.
In division one, Warrington A, the defending league champions, found itself in second position behind Wirral. Warrington had four wins over Formby, Altrincham, Wigan and Halton and one loss to Wirral, which it considers its main rivals for the title this year.
In division two, Warrington B finished the day top of the division after four wins, no losses and just one draw against a strong Wigan team. Warrington B had two players making league debuts: Joe Howard and Jonny Pine who joined Yubo Zhou Rasmussen and Jordan Glendenning.
In division three Warrington C completed a great day for the club with two wins, one loss and two draws to finish mid table. Three players, Michael Eaton, Aidan Ferrie and Will Gregson made their league and club debuts, joining Matthew Halsall to form Warrington's newest team.
Head coach Sue Harper said: "Warrington has increased its number of teams in the league this season from two to three. All of our players made a contribution to Warrington's success today. Each of our teams are now in a great position to challenge for the top spot in each division."
