Warrington's juniors made strong progress in the recent North West trials with five Warrington players making selection and will go on to represent the region at the forthcoming National Championships in June.
Warrington Table Tennis Club's head coach Sue Harper was delighted with the performances of the club's junior players: "2012 has been a very strong season for the future development of table tennis in Warrington. We have brought through a number of young players - the most we've brought through in a single season and for many of these youngsters to make North West selection is a strong achievement, both for the players individually and for the club."
The following Warrington players made it through the North West trials and will compete in the forthcoming English National Championships taking place in Tipton, June 1-2.

Other Warrington players who entered the trials and didn't quite make it through were Toby Williamson and Lewis Brook, who were both competing in a very competitive under 14s age band, which included several top 20 England ranked players. "Both players gave there all," added Sue Harper, "The qualification in this age band was very strong and Toby and Lewis did extremely well to compete at this level and set down a marker for the future."
