Warrington Table Tennis Club is challenging for league division titles on several fronts.
At the 2013-14 season's mid-point, Warrington Table Tennis Club's cadet, junior and local league teams are challenging for titles on several fronts.
"Particularly noteworthy are the performances of the club's first team (Olivier Barthelemy, Alex Storey, Mark Bleakley, Stuart Hardy), which is looking good to retain its Warrington & District League title and both of the club's division two teams, which are in second and third places in that division," said Head Coach, Sue Harper.
In the National Junior League, Warrington's Junior B team (Yubo Zhou Rasmussen, Jonny Pine, Matthew Halsall) is in second place, nine points behind division two leaders Formby.
In the National Cadet League, outstanding performances have come from its C Team (Konark Pathak, Alex Weatherby, Alex Flint, Johann Power): the team is top in the third division, seven points clear at the season's mid-point.

In the Lancashire and Cheshire Town Championships League, Warrington's junior and senior teams are all doing well. The junior A team (Alex Storey, Daniel Clarke and David Eden) is undefeated in the premier division, in joint first place with Southport; and its junior B team (Amy Hutchings, Jordan Glendenning, Alex Poyner and Jonny Pine) is in joint first place with a very strong Preston team in division one. The club's senior mens team (Mark Bleakley, Olivier Barthelemy, Daniel Clarke) is in joint second place with Southport, yet with some of the strongest teams still to play on match-day two.
Warrington's Junior British League Girl's team (Beth Farnworth, Amy Hutchings, Rachael Scott, Robyn Cosgrove) is in fifth place in a very close second division - just two points separate first from fifth.
Sue Harper, looking ahead to to 2014, feels the club is building a strong base of players: "We've brought many, new young players into the leagues so far this season. Each is gaining valuable experience of competing in the sport."
In the first half of the 2013-14 season seven players made league debuts for Warrington:
Connor Whitehead
Travis Dickenson
Alex Weatherby
Johann Power
Konark Pathak
Ashley Taylor
Jake Remmer
Many of the club's players achieved over a 'two-thirds' win ratio in the National Cadet League: Emma Halsall (83% win ratio), Liz poyner (67%), Jack Eaton (71%), Nicole Scott (88%), Alex Flint (78%), Johann Power (92%), Konark Pathak (100%), Alex Weatherby (100%), Connor Whitehead (83%), Jordan Glendenning (80%), Matthew Gibbs (81%). And in the National Junior League: Yubo Zhou Rasmussen (72%), Jonny Pine (70%).
