Tough start in junior league

Warrington TTC's four junior teams got their 2014-15 season up and running this weekend in the national junior league.
Warrington's first team ended the day in second place in divison one, thanks to an outstanding performance from Zak Cantor, playing for Warrington for the first time and winning eight of his ten matches during the day.
Travis Dickenson also secured eight wins and set himself apart as 'one to watch' for the season ahead.
The club went into match-day one of the national junior league three players down with younger players stepping in to fill the gap.
"Zak Cantor's and Travis Dickenson's performances were the highlights in a tough day for Warrington," explained head coach Sue Harper. "Each of our players, across all four Warrington teams, applied themselves well and gained important experience, many playing for the first time in the junior league. But we found wins few and far between today."
