Solid start in British League

Warrington's senior team have made a positive start to the 2015-16 season.
The team played four, winning one, drawing two and loosing one, to finish in third place after the first weekend.

Warrington used a squad of seven players: Mark Bleakley, Olivier Barthelemy, Connor Whitehead and Michael Lennon played the first two matches, loosing 3-7 against Platform Play and drawing 5-5 against Arbory. On day two Olivier Barthelemy was joined by Paul Hutchings, Amy Hutchings and Daniel Clarke, winning their first match against Swerve 6-4 and drawing 5-5 against Halton.
Olivier Barthelemy said: "Our team performed well throughout the weekend, despite Paul carrying an injury and two of our players making league debuts, playing in their first matches at this level."

The team is next in action on match weekend two in York, 31 Oct-1 Nov, where they will come up against two of the strongest teams in the league: Guernsey (Ravenscroft) and Grimsby.
