After a count-back in division three of the National Junior League Warrington emerged as runners-up.
After the final match-day of the National Junior League, Warrington and Wigan were tied on equal points in joint second place. The league ran a count back on individual games won across the season and a delighted Warrington team emerged narrowly ahead tof Wigan to claim the league's runners-up spot.
Head coach Sue Harper said: "Division three was close all season and any one of the teams could have won the title. Each of Warrington's juniors, captained by Matthew Halsall, have performed very well and fully deserved their second position in the league. Several Warrington players were competing in the league for the first time this season and to finish second is a strong achievement for them and testament to their dedication in training this season."

Warrington's second team can also claim to have had a strong season in a very tough second division. "The team eventually finished third, but with just three points separating 2nd, 3rd and 4th places, the team can rightly claim to have made good progress this season," explained head coach Sue Sue Harper.
