Warrington Table Tennis Club's Keir North got his season up and running - winning the U15s Junior Open in Burton-on-Trent this Saturday, the first junior open tournament of the 2012-13 season.
Keir North is Warrington Table Tennis Club's latest addition to it's junior league title-winning team, joining the club over the Summer. And he made his mark in style today winning his first-ever junior open tournament, the first competitive tournament of the 2012-13 season.
Coach Dave Hulme said: "Keir has been training hard during the Summer and it's no surprise that's he triumphed in Burton today. Keir has started the season looking sharp and this win will further strengthen his confidence for an important season ahead."

Keir North is thirteen years' old and a year-nine student at Manchester Grammar. He started playing table tennis at age ten and was a founding member of Stockport Table Tennis Academy and plays locally in the Glossop League. "Keir has a pacey, close-to-the-table attacking style, a positive attitude and works hard in training. He is one of the up-and-coming juniors in the region," added Hulme.
