Keir North to compete in English Schools Finals

Keir North has qualified for Greater Manchester and will take part in the English Schools Individual Championships in April.
Keir North representing Manchester Grammar School this weekend won the Greater Manchester under 19s qualification round to make it through to the Butterfly Individual Championship Finals taking place in Doncaster on 26 April.
Keir, who trains at Warrington Table Tennis Club, joins clubmate Alex Flint who qualified in the under elevens age group.

Keir came through the qualification round with wins against Jonny Pine of Stockport Grammar School and Alex Poyner also of Manchester Grammar School.
Manchester Grammar School currently has a wealth of junior table tennis players, with many currently training at local junior table tennis clubs and competing in leagues across the region, including: Keir North, Alex Poyner and Johann Power who train at Warrington Table Tennis Club; Ahab Issac, Rueben Vollam-Holliday and Shonal Kapoor who train at the newly formed Stockport Table Tennis Academy. Each also compete in the National Cadet / National Junior League and in ETTA junior open tournaments.
