Posted by Warrington TTC on 9 April 2013

Seventeen of Warrington's brightest junior table tennis players took part in the end-of-season junior town championships on Monday.

The seventeen were: Aidan Ferrie, Alex Storey, Alex Weatherby, Amy Hutchings, Connor Whitehead, Daniel Clarke, Danni Eden, David Eden, Emma Halsall, Jordan Glendenning, Keir North, Lewis Brook, Matthew Halsall, Patrick Divers, Toby Williamson, William Gregson and Yubo Zhou Rasmussen.

"Congratulations go to each of the players who took part this evening," said head coach, Sue Harper. "There were many close encounters and some great table tennis skills on show. The 2012-13 season has been another strong year for junior table tennis in Warrington."

The groups stages and knockout rounds have set up a repeat of the 2012 final between the town's number one and two seeds, Alex Storey and Daniel Clarke, which will take place on Finals Night, Tuesday 16 April, in Cinnamon Brow along with the finals of each of the other town championship events: open singles, veterans, doubles, restricted singles and handicap.
