Warrington success at NW trials

Warrington TTC will provide six of the players that will represent the North West region in the National Championships 2012.
In the North West regional trials, players from Warrington Table Tennis Club secured no fewer than six of the available selection places for the English Under 11/12/13/14 National Table Tennis Championships taking place on 9-10 June in Wolverhampton: Rachael Scott and Jordan Glendenning made U13s selection. James Chappell, Daniel Clarke and David Eden made U14s selection and Nicole Scott made U11s selection.
Success in the North West trials is contributing towards a great end to the season for the Warrington club, which the week before had won both the Cadet and Junior leagues in style and setting several records in the process.
Warrington Table Tennis Club's Head Coach and former England international, Sue Harper, said: "We have a crop of good young players at the club. They train hard, have great attitude and are setting the standard for others to emulate. Nicole, Rachael, Jordan, James, Daniel and David fully deserve their selection for the North West region and we wish them well at the National Championships in June."

About the English Under 11/12/13/14 National Table Tennis Championships
The English Under 11/12/13/14 National Table Tennis Championships take place on 9-10 June at the University of Wolverhampton. The country's best young table tennis tennis players, two boys and two girls, from nine regions will take part: North West, North East, Yorkshire, East, East Midlands, West Midlands, South West, London, South East.
