Rising stars: James Courtney and Liz Poyner had strong wins in the trials
All together thirteen Warrington players entered the Cheshire county table tennis trials. The trials are used to help determine the players for Cheshire's two junior teams and one cadet team and to help identify rising stars in the under thirteen and under eleven age bands.
Also from Warrington and competing were Matthew Gibbs, Alex Flint, Johann Power and Jake Remmer (the youngest player, at just nine years old, to take part).
Head Coach Sue Harper said: "It was great to see the many young players taking part and competing at this level. Congratulations to all those that took part today."
