Burton Junior Open win for Warrington

Warrington Table tennis Club's Daniel Clarke secured his first two-star tournament win at the Burton Junior Open on 24 June.
Daniel defeated Aman Rashid 3-1 in the final, following earlier wins against Alex Tilley in the quarters and Warrington team-mate David Eden in the semis.
In the final it was Aman who got off to the best start, taking the first game 11-9. Daniel managed to get back into contention, taking the second game by the same margin, before pushing on in the third and fourth games winning the match 3-1 and securing his first two-star junior open win.

About the Burton Uxbridge Junior Open Summer Series
The Burton Junior Open on 24 June was the second in a summer series of four junior open tournaments taking place during June and July. Each tournament is organised into under 11s, 13s, 15s and 18s age bands, with boys and girls categories. The events attract many of the country's top junior players.
