Andrew Harper selected for Great Britain

Warrington Table Tennis Club's Andrew Harper will compete for Great Britain in the British Open in Sheffield in September.

The British Open Factor 40, is an event for disabled table tennis players, taking place in  Sheffield in September 2011. There are potentially 40 different class events in the competition which is to be held at the English Institute of Sport from Wednesday 14th to Saturday 17th September 2011. Over 250 competitors from abroad and the UK are expected.

Warrington Table Tennis Club's Rob Clarke said: "we are absolutely delighted for Andrew and we'll all be wishing him the very best as he competes with the world's top players. His selection is much deserved and comes at the end of a strong season for Andrew." 

The event is organised by the British Table Tennis Association for People with Disabilities (BTTAD) and is supported by UK Sport, Sheffield City Council and the ETTA.
